Leigh Folk Festival 26th to 29th June 2008
Over a weekend of relentless sunshine back in June, Leigh on Sea in Essex played host to the 17th Leigh Folk Festival. The festival saw a wide range of artists, of both local and national prominence, performing both contemporary and traditional folk and roots music over a number of outdoor stages.
I’ve produced an mp3 of recorded highlights of the weekend. This consists of a number of interviews with festival organisers and artists, and some excerpts of those artists performing recorded (mostly) live over the four days of the festival.
The mp3 is 1hour 15 mins long, so will probably only be of interest to HP’s hardcore folkie contingent, yes there is one! It’s downloadable from here.
